Nursery
Loving and secure care is provided for precious little ones aged birth to 24 months. All of our Nursery workers are regular VCF attendees whose backgrounds have been cleared. Toys are age-appropriate.
Preschool
Children enjoy coming to church and learning in an environment that is safe, loving, fun, and appropriate for their attention span. Our Preschool class provides our littlest learners with the opportunity to play in ways that relate to the week's Bible story, watch and engage with a puppet show featuring familiar characters, and create a craft or coloring page to help them take home the "WonderTruth" for the week.
Elementary Classes
Our elementary aged students are broken up into two classes on Sunday morning: Kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.
Like the preschool class, these classes follow the WonderInk curriculum to interact with a passage of scripture each week. Children are welcomed into a loving environment with dedicated and nurturing leaders and experience a time of play and fellowship, a circle time with interactive lessons, games and crafts that reinforce the lesson, and have a memory verse activity.
At VCF, we believe Scripture teaches that parents are the primary spiritual leaders for their children, and so provide tools to help parents in that important endeavor. Students have a "take home" page with the WonderTruth each week to encourage them to share with their families.
